As of today, around 26% of the global population are of reproductive age and more than 800 million people menstruate daily. And still, in 2021, all around the world women and those that menstruate are facing significant barriers, disempowerment, and shame… Which is why it’s time to free the flow!
In the course of their latest project #FreeTheFlow🩸, running in November 2021, STAND & USI (the Union of Students of Ireland) commissioned me to design the main illustration for their campaign as well as the accompanying lettering. Their goal? Taking action for menstruation justice!
